They have machined sealing surfaces that allow for greater product containment.  they are manufactured from Teflon^® PTFE and polyethylene. Conductive pumps are available which safely discharge static electricity, therefore meeting the strict requirements of the european ATEX directive.

The UA series of pumps can be supplied with a manual or pneumatic back flushing system which is useful for products with solids that settle to the bottom when not in motion.

A variant is available with barrier chambers between the pumping diaphragms that is filled with a neutral fluid, should a diaphragm fail a conductivity sensor monitors the fluid and sends a signal to a controller.
